Margot is 3 months!

Sorry about the infrequent posts...we are currently homeless and our computer is in storage. We moved to Harrah, OK and close on our house in a week!

I went to Woodward for a visit and had my dad take Margot's 3 month pictures! Isn't she the prettiest thing you have ever seen???

My baby is growing up!

We decided that last night would be Margot's first night in her own bed. She lasted an entire minute and a half! Baby steps, people!

My Little One Month Old!

Margot is one month old today and she had her one month doctor checkup today! She weighed in at 10lbs 9oz and was 22 inches long. They said she looked perfect! (that is because she is perfect!)

Born 9:24pm on August 10, 2009! Margot weighed 9lbs 2oz and was 20 1/2" long!

Ready or not, here I come!

We had an ultrasound yesterday to get an estimated weight of my monster child. She is still about 2 1/2 weeks from the due date and already weighs 8lbs 12ozs! The doctor decided to induce her on Monday the 10th! They said she will be over 9lbs on Monday! So, now we are in a panic...rushing around to get the things done we thought we had 2 more weeks to do! Fun!

Notice my ticker at the top says that she is over 6lbs now! Ha! I think she reached that awhile ago!

Where are my silly sunglasses?

We went to my 35 week appointment today and found out that I am dilated to a 1! I thought when you were dilated, they gave you silly sunglasses to wear but I didn't get any today. I guess that is only when your eyes are dilated!

Anyway...now that that corny joke is out of the way, the doctor acted like a 1 was completely normal at this point so we are not going to rush to the hospital or anything. Still measuring 3 weeks ahead but that doesn't seem to concern the doctor either.

Here's a few questions for you moms:
Is there anything that I should pack for the hospital that I might not think of?
Do I need a robe for the hospital?
Do I need to take my own p.j.'s for after the delivery?

My good little grower!

We had our 25 week appointment on Thursday. I gained 13 pounds! Yes...I said it! 13 pounds! We then went into the room where she measured me. Last month, I measured a week ahead and this month, I measured 3 weeks ahead! Wow! They were kind of worried that I had gestational diabetes but the test came back negative! Woo-Hoo! When the nurse called me to tell me I didn't have it, I said, "well, what does that mean then that I am getting so big?" She said that the baby might have just had a growth spurt and will catch up.

I asked her if it made a difference that I was 10 lbs 3 oz when I was born and she said "Well, Yeah! I am going to write that in your chart, we don't want you delivering any 10 pound babies!" I guess my little (big) Margot is just taking after her momma!

Has anyone seen the movie 'Jack' with Robin Williams? It is about a boy that grows 4 times the rate of a normal human. When he is in the 5th grade, he looks like a 40 year old man! Hope this is not the case with Margot! I don't think she would be very happy in the 5th grade if she looked like a 40 year old man!

Our Baby Boy!

We had our big 20 week ultrasound appointment today! Our little boy has all of his parts except the parts that make him a boy! So....drum roll please....that means we are having a little girl!

Half Way There!

Yesterday, I hit 20 weeks! That means that I am half way there!

Silly Baby!

Breaking News:

We had an ultrasound on Wednesday and found out that we have a very, VERY active baby boy! Well...the doctor was only 95% sure it was a boy because it was still earlier than they usually tell and he was moving all over the place! Now we just need to come up with a name. We are open to any suggestions...we might not pick them, but you can suggest them! Ha!

Punked!

Last night, I was talking on the phone to my silly niece, Hollace. When we wrapped up our conversation, she asked me if I wanted to talk to Baby Thad (my new nephew!). I said "sure" so the phone immediately became silent like she put the phone up to his ear. I said "Hi" in a really cute baby voice (which is necessary considering he is a baby.) Anyway, I then heard Hollace break out into laughter and say "I was just teasin'! He can't talk on the phone!" I guess I can say that I have now been punked!This picture is courtesy of my sister's blog. Shhh! Don't tell her, I stole it!

Blooming!

Spring is in the air! I noticed one of the bushes in my garden is getting some flowers on it. I am so excited for spring!

I am also blooming! This is my "14 Weeks Pregnant Picture". I am also taking a poll to see who thinks there is more than one baby in there.

So Humiliated!

Erwin the dog hurt his toe nail, so he had to go to the vet. The vet bandaged him up and gave us this collar to put on him so he doesn't mess with it. When we got home, we put it on him. I told Jeremy that he looked embarrassed. Jeremy said, and I quote "He should be! He looks like a dork!"

Welcome to the World, Little Thad!

Congratulations to my sister and her family! They welcomed my new little nephew to the world on January 28! Thad Aaron Hubbard was 7lbs 3 oz and was born at 3:02 in the morning! Isn't he the cutest thing ever!

Poor Magical Goat!

Police in Nigeria are holding a goat on suspicion of attempted armed robbery.

A group of vigilante men took the black and white beast to the police saying it was an armed robber who had used black magic to transform himself into a goat to escape arrest after trying to steal a car.

A police spokesperson confirms the goat is in custody and that they won't be basing their case on the mystical transformation.

Cat's out of the Bag!

Two Sundays ago was our first Sunday back at our church after Christmas. I stayed home because I was not feeling well. About 10:15 ish, I got a phone call from my dear, sweet husband. I picked up the phone and his first words were, "I think I made a mistake!" He began to tell me that he was on stage a church and the music minister asked him what his favorite thing he got for Christmas was. He said "a baby!" Then he said "oops, I don't think that I was supposed to say that yet! No one say anything!" Needless to say, out of the 300ish people that heard that, a few told! So, here I am announcing it to the blogging world... we are having a baby! It is due August 19th or 20th. I guess you could say that the "baby is out of the bag" or maybe "the baby beans have been spilled!"
